| Gallery Iris Kadel represents selected national and international artists. Since its foundation in 2003 cultural and historical subtexts - communicated through abstract and figurative representation - are central to the gallery's program. The analytical use of different themes and materials by the gallery artists creates a visual, non-verbal language. This includes the merging of poetic, political and experimental ideas to form a highly developed critical and contemporary approach. Gallery Iris Kadel is located in the centre of Karlsruhe. The gallery is very close to the artist run spaces Poly and V8 and close to other institutions and galleries such as ZKM, Badischer Kunstverein, Meyer Riegger Gallery and the Academy of Fine Arts. |
